History   Already at the turn of the 19th century, people longing for medical help at the Miglitzpromenade were provided with relief from their pain by being given a cure or receiving other forms of medical therapy. It was due to the initiative of MR chief physician Dr.Günter Nebel that during 1990-1992 the building, located 600m above sea level, was extended to a Sanatorium which meets all modern standards and, above all, follows the styrian law for hospitals. In June 2003 there was the ground-breaking ceremony for the reconstruction and expansion of the clinic. During these improvements, the front of the sanatorium which is more than 100 years old remained unchanged. In the new part of the building one may now find 82 rooms, all of them with fashionable furniture. On the whole, 9000m2 were added to the already existing clinic. A large indoor swimming pool is also offered to the patients now. 2000m2 are used for new therapy areas and are completed by a therapy garden. All these changes make sure that patients get excellent medical treatment during their rehabilitation at the private clinic Laßnitzhöhe which is, without doubt, one of the most fashionable private clinics in Austria.
